& Mayo, P.C. is a Connecticut-based law firm founded
by Walter R. Griffin at a single desk and chair in 1949.
Walter R. Griffin practised law for over 60 years, building
the practice and establishing our core values. Today,
in a variety of practice disciplines, the firm represents
a multitude of clients, from individuals to small family
businesses to multi-billion dollar corporations. Our services
are delivered in many complex areas of the law, yet we
continue to draw upon the simple focus and values that
have been present throughout our existence. Our core values
are uncomplicated: we are excellent at listening; we communicate
directly and honestly; we place our clients' needs first
and we deliver a very high level of service, in a timely
manner at a reasonable cost.
We are also dedicated to our community and actively
volunteer our time and energy as Board members of various
